Oppenheimer Released Date: Is Oppenheimer Movie a Biopic?

Christopher Nolan descends from the Mount Olympus of directors every few years to produce another must-see film. He outperforms any living or legendary filmmaker in terms of consistency.

He’s one of the most successful auteurs working in cinema as a writer, director, and producer, and he’s making blockbusters on the magnitude of Spielberg or Kubrick’s classics.

His collection of work is a checkerboard of innovation and adaptation, including The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, and Memento.

“Oppenheimer” will begin filming in early 2022, according to Universal Pictures. “‘Oppenheimer’ will be shot using a combination of IMAX 65 mm and 65 mm large-format film for the best image quality,” the studio noted.

These facts came as no surprise, given that Nolan shot “Tenet” and “Dunkirk” in the same format. No word yet from Nolan’s crew or Universal on where “Oppenheimer” will be shot.
