In this Netflix Original action-drama movie, Army captain JJ Collins (Elsa Pataky) has to use her years of military experience and tactical training to protect the missile interceptor base she is in charge of from a coordinated attack.

Even worse, during the attack, Collins meets Alexander Kessel (Luke Bracey), a charming but corrupt former US military intelligence officer who is determined to carry out a terrible plan.

Collins is under a lot of pressure to save the day, which sounds like an epic and heart-pounding way to start your summer of streaming.

‘Hustle’

Stanley Sugarman (Adam Sandler) is a basketball scout who is down on his luck. While in Spain, he meets Bo Cruz (Juancho Hernández), a very talented player, and sees him as his ticket back to success and acceptance in the NBA.

Things get complicated, though, when Stanley brings Bo back to play on his team without getting permission from the other players or the organisation.

The sports comedy-drama Hustle is a slam dunk. It stars Sandler, Hernández, Queen Latifah, Robert Duvall, and Ben Foster, as well as real NBA players like Anthony Edwards, Kyle Lowry, and Trae Young.

Hustle will come out on June 8.

“Peace Trees”

In this drama movie based on real events, it’s April 1994, and four women from different backgrounds and with different beliefs are stuck in a hiding place during the Rwandan genocide.

Based on George Saunders’s 2010 dystopian short story “Escape From Spiderhead,” this sci-fi thriller follows inmates Jeff (Miles Teller) and Rachel (Jurnee Smollett) as they form a connection while dealing with their pasts in a high-tech prison run by the brilliant visionary Steve Abnesti (Chris Hemsworth).

Jeff and Rachel can get their sentences reduced if they agree to be test subjects in Steve’s experiments with drugs that change the mind and emotions. However, the closer they get to the experiments, the more they want to get away from the facility and the tests.

Love & Gelato is based on Jenna Evans Welch’s 2017 best-selling book of the same name. It follows Lina (Susanna Skaggs), who just graduated from high school, as she keeps a promise to her sick mother that she’ll spend her last summer before college getting to know her father in Rome.

Lina would rather get ready for school than take a solo trip halfway around the world to meet her father, whom she hasn’t seen in 16 years. However, it doesn’t take her long to fall in love with Italy’s atmosphere, people, and, of course, gelato.
