What Is the Resident Evil Unleashed Plot?
The new show will be set in two historical periods and will chronicle the adventures of the two Wesker youngsters. Netflix announced the following plot arcs in an official announcement:
‘Jade and Billie Wesker, fourteen-year-old sisters, are relocated to New Raccoon City in the first timeline. A manufactured, corporate community thrust upon them in the midst of adolescence.
But the longer they stay, the more they discover that the town is more than meets the eye, and that their father may be hiding deadly secrets. ‘Secrets that have the potential to harm the world.’
Cut to the second timeline, which is well over a decade in the future: the world’s population has shrunk to less than fifteen million individuals. And more than six billion monsters — T-virus-infected humans and animals.
Jade, now thirty, is struggling to survive in this New World while her past secrets – about her sister, father, and herself – continue to plague her.’
Albert Wesker, the Resident Evil series’ recurrent villain who has been a part of the world since the first game, is their father. We don’t know what happens to Billie along the road, but we know there will be teeth and mutation.
