Jeffre Phillips Accused for Stealing Michael Jackson’s Deathbed Pyjamas!

The “Thriller” singer’s estate claims that LaToya Jackson’s ex-fiance stole the pyjamas he wore while on his deathbed.

The King of Pop passed away in June 2009, and according to attorneys for his estate, Jeffre Phillips, who became engaged to Michael’s sister in 2013 but broke it off two years later, took advantage of the upheaval in the wake of his death to steal valuables from the star’s home, Carol wood House, and tried to sell them.

The movie producer allegedly stole clothes, handwritten notes, a briefcase containing personal and professional letters, the “Billie Jean” singer’s driver’s license, and iPhones belonged to Michael and his kids while he stayed at the house for nine days after the star’s passing.

In an extremely appalling and inhumane act, Phillips even stole the pyjamas Jackson was wearing in the final hours of his life,”the attorneys wrote in documents submitted on Friday, 24.06.22.

Additionally, Phillips took a resuscitation tube that appeared to have been applied to Jackson by those attempting to save his life in the hurried and brief time before his passing.

The producer allegedly tried to auction off items that belonged to the late singer in December 2021, according to information provided to Michael’s estate.

Phillips allegedly admitted to the auctioneers that the items were taken in the days after the ‘Bad’ hitmaker’s death while he was at his home in an effort to attest to their veracity.

In order to confirm the items, the auction house contacted the estate. They informed them that they had a pair of Michael Jackson’s sunglasses that, according to Phillips, still had “make-up on it from his face.”

The estate has returned some of the things it claimed Phillips had taken, but they think he still has the home movies and music Michael wrote and recorded before his accidental overdose at the age of 50.

The producer has been asked by the estate to turn over every item they claim he stole. After their engagement ended, Phillips and LaToya remained close friends, but it is unknown if they are still in touch at this time.

Phillips has not yet responded to the allegations.
