CNN has been informed by a source close to Jennifer Lopez that she and Ben Affleck have completed their wedding and are now husband and wife.
The couple tied the knot on Saturday during what the insider referred to as an “intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.” In a newsletter she sent out on Sunday, Jennifer Lopez announced that she and Marc Anthony would be getting married in Las Vegas.
Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck “Last night we went to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same trek to the wedding capital of the world,” Lopez wrote in her letter.
“Last night we got married in the wedding capital of the world.” “We only just made it to the little white chapel in time for the midnight ceremony.
They kindly stayed open late for a few minutes, and they let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible that had apparently been driven by the king himself (although, if we wanted Elvis himself to show there, it would have cost extra, since he was already in bed).”
Affleck wore a blazer from his closet, according to Lopez’s account, and she claimed that she wore a dress from an earlier movie.

According to what she wrote, the two of them “read our own vows in the modest church and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”
“When it was all said and done, it was the most wonderful wedding that we could have ever dreamed of.” The love story of Jennifer is one that has been developing over the course of more than 20 years.
The first time the couple worked together was in the romantic comedy “Gigli,” which was shot in December 2001. In the film, they played crooks who were forced to work together on a job, and in real life, they became good friends.

They never ended up getting married, and in January 2004, they made the decision to formally end their engagement.
After that, it took another 17 years for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck to find their way back to one another, during which time they each had children and married other people.
In April, as Lopez was enjoying a relaxing soak in a bubble bath, Affleck made his second proposal to Lopez. “I was taken completely by surprise, and I just looked into his eyes while smiling and crying at the same time.

I was quite literally speechless, and he asked me, “is that a yes?” I was trying very hard to wrap my head around the fact that after 20 years, this was happening all over again.
I was completely taken aback. I responded with “Yes,” which is, of course, also a “Yes.” “She mentioned it in her newsletter, she continued.
