Ranveer Singh Teases Vijay Deverakonda for Wearing Chappals to a Liger Function by saying, “Bhai Ka Style Dekho.”
Ranveer Singh had a lot to say about Vijay Deverakonda’s decision to wear chappals to the event of his film Liger in Mumbai, which was held on the same day that the trailer for the film was shown for the first time.
There was a lot of excitement in Hyderabad on Thursday morning when Vijay Deverakonda launched the teaser for his film Liger.
After a long and exhausting day, he decided to attend the promotional event in Mumbai, which was held in the evening, while wearing the slippers from Hawaii. And there is no denying that it did not go unnoticed.
Ranveer Singh, who was a guest at the event, made the observation that “Bhai ka style dekho, aise lag raha hai, ye mere trailer launch pe aaya hai ya main inke trailer launch pe aaya hu” (Look at brother’s style; it seems as though he came to my trailer launch rather than me coming to his trailer launch).

Vijay wore a black t-shirt with all capital letters spelling out the word “The,” which he teamed with beige cargo pants and white chappals.
Ranveer even made the comparison between him and John Abraham, who is also known to wear chappals when he attends functions.
On the other hand, Ranveer was attired in a silver-grey jacket, black boots, a black tee, and black pants with a black design on the legs.
He wore black boots. During their conversation at the event, Ranveer also shared the following quote with Karan Johar: “Speaking of lust, the object of lust, sir we have found out on your blockbuster talk show ki ‘the’ ek kitni demand hai (the demand for Vijay in North India).”
On the second episode of Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee With Karan, Sara Ali Khan declared her desire to date Vijay Deverakonda. He was implying that she expressed her desire during the conversation.
At the ceremony, there was also the co-star of Vijay’s show, Ananya Panday, as well as the director of Liger, Puri Jagannath.
In Liger, Vijay plays the role of an MMA fighter from Mumbai who is an underdog in the competition for the championship.
The movie, which is a drama about sports, is going to be shown in theaters on August 25 in five different languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
During the event, Vijay stated, “I’m looking forward to the day when it’s no longer termed north or south, but just Indian cinema, and we are referred to as Indian actors.” That is the reality that we ought to be looking for.
