Kenny Chesney is "Devastated" After a Woman Dies in an Escalator Accident Near the End of His Show!

Kenny Chesney is in grief for a woman who passed away after suffering fatal injuries during his concert in Denver, Colorado on July 30.

The victim fell down an escalator. Kenny Chesney, who is 54 years old, issued these words in an official statement that was distributed to The Denver Post on Sunday, July 31. “I was devastated to learn of the passing of someone after our event,” Chesney added.

“Last night, there was so much happiness and so much emotion emanating from the people of Denver, and to hear this is terrible.” The country music artist proceeded by saying, Life is valuable.

The act of listening to and playing each other’s music pulls us closer together, and the love that we share makes us into so much more.

There are no words that can adequately describe the woman who arrived to share that love. I am sorry about the loss she has caused to her friends and family, and I mourn together with them and for them.

The incident took place after the event at approximately 10:52 p.m. local time at Empower Field at Mile High, which is the home stadium of the Denver Broncos, according to a spokesman for the Denver Police Department named Nat Magee.

The woman, who reportedly had been seated on the escalator before the collapse but has not yet been identified in public, was injured in the fall. It is not known at this time if she was transported to a hospital or whether she passed away at the stadium.

At the time, the incident was documented by the Denver Police Department as an “accidental fatality.” The department refuted rumors that the woman had been pushed or shoved prior to the fall.

Magee stated on Sunday to The Denver Post that “to my understanding, there was none of that, it was just an accidental fall, I don’t think anyone pushed her or anything like that,” and that he had come to that conclusion based on what he had been told.

Following the tragic event, the band posted a message on their official Twitter account expressing their condolences to the woman’s family and friends, saying, “We extend our deepest sympathies to the loved ones of the woman involved in the tragic incident that occurred at the end of Saturday’s concert at Empower Field at Mile High.”

There is nothing more essential than ensuring the safety of our guests, and the Stadium Management Company is in discussion with the Denver Police Department while it examines this terrible occurrence at this time.

This is only the most recent tragedy in a string of unfortunate events that has recently involved concertgoers losing their lives.
