Morbius 2 Release Date: How to Stream This Show?

Sony hasn’t said for sure that Morbius 2 is coming out, so it doesn’t look likely. Even though it had a good opening weekend, Morbius did not do well at the box office.

It only made $167.5 million internationally. Even a second release of the film after it became a meme couldn’t save it. Matt Smith kept his cool when the film didn’t end the way he wanted it to.

In August 2022, he said, At the end of the day, we’re just making a film. It didn’t quite work out for some reason, and… What it is, is. There are hints of a second film in the first one, and we’re not just talking about possible Spider-Man crossovers.

A second game could still happen if Sony wants it to. Now you know everything you need to know about a possible Morbius 2.

When Will Morbius 2 Be Released?

There isn’t a specific release date for Morbius 2 because, as was said above, it hasn’t been officially confirmed. In the next two years, Sony will release a number of Marvel-related films, beginning on June 2, 2023, with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.

Right now, it’s difficult to see how the sequel could fit in. On October 6, 2023, Kraven the Hunter, another Spider-Man spin-off, will be released.

El Muerto and Madame Web will both be released in 2024 on January 12 and February 16, respectively. Venom 3 is also coming, however, the release date is unknown.

Even if it is confirmed, Morbius 2 most likely won’t be released until at least 2024. If we learn any new information, we’ll let you know.

Who Will Be in the Morbius 2 Cast?

There haven’t been any official casting announcements because Morbius 2 hasn’t been made public. Jared Leto will undoubtedly reprise his role as Dr. Michael Morbius, though.

He’ll likely be joined by Adria Arjona, who portrays Martine Bancroft, a human who has been transformed into a vampire (more on that in a bit).

But due to the fact that they were actually slain in Morbius, Dr. Nicholas (Jared Harris) and Milo (Matt Smith) won’t be coming back. In the comic books, Tyrese Gibson’s character Simon Stroud is a well-known adversary of Morbius.

Alberto Rodriguez, played by Al Madrigal, who is Stroud’s FBI partner, is also quite likely to return. Gibson claimed that Stroud has a contract for three films, so he may appear in more.

Even if Michael Keaton’s character Adrian Toomes doesn’t come back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he will appear in the sequel because of his appearance in the Morbius credit scenes.

Morbius and Toomes might assist the Sinister Six together, according to Toomes. He made light of the situation to IGN, saying, “There are people at Sony who will give me a chance because then I will compel them to commit to something.”

Where to Watch Morbius Show?

Morbius is available on Netflix first and foremost. The film is distributed by Sony, which agreed with Netflix last year that all of its new movies released in theatres in 2022 will be available to stream on Netflix before they are available on any other service or TV network.
