Based on author Shu’s light novel series of the same name, the series was previously adapted into manga before being brought to the world of anime in 2020 by animation studio SILVER LINK. Fans are more than ready for another taste of demon-y goodies now than ever before.

When Will Season 2 of The Misfits of Demon King Academy Be Released?
SILVER LINK has yet to announce a firm release date for Season 2 of “The Misfit of Demon King Academy.” But don’t worry: the corporation stated in March that the second season will begin in the fall of this year (via Crunchyroll). Aniplex USA, the anime’s licensor, even produced a Japanese-only trailer to tease the series’ future continuation.
Really still, some fans are curious as to when Season 2 will be released.
According to Anime News Network, the series’ first season was announced in October 2019 and released in July 2020, after a slight delay due to COVID-19. Season 2 will premiere in 2022, with other highly anticipated anime, if there are no further virus-related delays impacting this year’s planned anime.
While we don’t know when Season 2 of “The Misfit of Demon King Academy” will premiere in 2022, we do know that the anime will be televised in two parts.To anime viewers unfamiliar with the cour system, this effectively means that the first and second half of the season will be separated by a lengthy break to match with Japan’s broadcasting schedule.

In The Misfit of Demon King Academy, W0o Are the Main Characters?
Without a misfit or a Demon King, what would “The Misfit of Demon King Academy” be? Thankfully, the drama delivers both in a spectacular two-for-one deal, since the titular misfit, Anos (Tatsuhisa Suzuki/Aleks Le), was previously the Demon King (via Myanimelist). However, 2,000 years after his death, he reincarnates and returns to the Demon King Academy to reclaim his rightful role.
Anos meets a variety of pals along the way, including Sasha (Yuuko Natsuyoshi/Kayli Mills) and Misha (Tomori Kusunoki/Brianna Knickerbocker). However, one of his most formidable opponents is Lay (Takuma Terashima/Griffin Puatu). Lay is revealed to be the current manifestation of Anos’ old enemy and buddy, the hero Kanon (Ryouta Oosaka), near the end of Season 1. The cast of “The Misfit of Demon King Academy” has a lot more to offer. However, these are the story’s most important characters.
