IHG is a hotel and resort company that competes with Marriott and Hilton in the hotel and resort industry. They have a variety of properties to choose from, each with its own set of amenities. The amount of people employed by IHG (Intercontinental Hotels Group) Hotels and Resorts is enormous, with over 400,000 people employed worldwide. Indeed, it is believed that the corporation employs over 70,000 individuals in the United States alone. The exact figure may vary, but it’s in the neighbourhood of that.
Merlin is the employee portal that handles things like benefits enrollment, pay stubs, training, reporting, and email. Within the IHG universe, it serves as the primary source of news, HR, and business information, as well as a vast collection of training tools and activities, as well as other resources for employees.
The Merlin employee programme is a terrific method for IHG hotels to provide a more personalised experience to guests while lowering employee training costs. It enables hotels to provide visitors with personalised services depending on their preferences, which can be listed on their profile or via the mobile app. The system can also be used for staff training, allowing hotel personnel to practise various services while getting to know their surroundings.
IHG workers can also use Loyalty Connect to access employee rates by linking their IHG Rewards Club number to their Merlin ID. Logging into MyID (myID.IHG.com) and selecting the menu icon to access the “Self Service” Portal is a simple process (more on that below).

IHG Merlin Login
Simply follow the instructions below to log into Merlin:
1. Go to the login page in your preferred web browser (me2.ihgmerlin.com).
2. In the username area, type your Username (Merlin ID).
3. In the “Password” field, type your password.
4. Click “Login.”
How to Recover your Username or Password for Login
If you’ve forgotten your account password, return to the login page and click the “Forgot password or username?” option just below the password entry area. By clicking that link, you’ll be taken to the “Network Account Support” page, where you’ll be able to update or change your password “fast and easily on your own” by answering your secret questions.
Please note that if you have not yet enrolled in Self-Service or if you have forgotten the answers to your secret questions, you must contact the company’s support team so they can provide you with a temporary password in the meantime.
If you forget your username, however, you must call the Support desk to speak with an individual who will assist you in resetting your password.
How to Become a Member of the IHG Network
If you don’t already have an account with the IHG Network, you can create one using the self-service registration website (myid.ihg.com/identityiq/external/registration.jsf#/register).
Simply choose your hotel’s location, fill out your profile, review the information, and submit your request.
Enter the INN code of the hotel with which you’re affiliated, choose the hotel brand, choose the country or region where your hotel is located, and fill in the following information: state, province, and city.
To create your profile, first, choose your hotel and job title, then your personal information, such as your name and email address.
After you’ve entered all of the essential information, double-check it to be sure it’s correct, then click “Register.”
