Black-Panther-2: CONFIRMATION On Release Date For This Year!

The shooting of Black Panther 2 is nearing its conclusion in preparation for its upcoming release in theatres later this year (hopefully).

Despite a week’s delay caused by Covid, production on the eagerly awaited MCU sequel is now set to end up in February 2022. In order to give Letitia Wright some much-needed rest following an on-set accident, the show was put on hold from November 2021 to January 2022.

All the details you’ll ever need to know about Wakanda Forever from the upcoming sequel, Black Panther 2

The sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, was announced in May 2021. In November 2022, the sequel to the initial May 2022 film is scheduled to open in theatres, following a series of delays.

Everyone engaged in the production is determined to ensure that Chadwick Boseman is remembered in this sequel, which will be the first time we’ve been to Wakanda since his untimely passing in August 2020.

THE BLACK PANTHER IS NOW AVAILABLE ON DISNEY+

Angela Bassett, who will reprise her role as T’Challa’s mother Ramonda, said, “Everyone felt the presence of Chadwick and missing him on that throne” during the first week of filming.

We all came together and paid tribute to him before we started, which was fantastic… everyone just speaking beautiful words about him and showing how much we care and how he inspired and informed us.”

No word yet on how the sequel would handle Boseman’s unfortunate demise (albeit he will not be digitally rebuilt), but the news is nonetheless good while we wait for the movie to be released next year.

That said, let’s get to the meat of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, shall we?

Who will return for Wakanda Forever: The Untold Story of Black Panther?

No new actors will be cast in the role of T’Challa in the sequel to honour Chadwick Boseman’s legacy. Fortunately, there are no plans to utilise a “digital duplicate” in the upcoming sequel.

According to Marvel Studios’ EVP Victoria Alonso, “there only only one Chadwick and he isn’t with us. This isn’t just fiction: “We’re taking a little time to figure out how we’ll return to history and honour this chapter of our lives that was so unexpected, so sad, so horrific, actually,” the narrator says.

So much of the comics and that first movie is Wakanda,” said Kevin Feige. Characters and subcultures can be further explored in Wakanda. The next story’s primary focus has always been on this. No CG Chadwick and no T’Challa are going to be cast in this movie.

Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, and Lupita Nyong’o will all be returning as their individual characters in the sequel, including M’Baku and Okoye, which will be played by Letitia Wright.

Actor Tenoch Huerta, best known for his role on the Netflix series Narcos: Mexico, is rumoured to be in talks to portray a villain in the sequel, although Marvel has not officially verified these allegations.

Daniel Kaluuya’s future as W’Kabi is still up in the air, but Martin Freeman will be back as CIA operative Everett Ross.

Is Michael B Jordan returning as Killmonger?

Because Killmonger was slain in the first film, it seems impossible, yet strange things have happened before.

In an alternate universe version of Killmonger, Jordan reprised his What If…? role. After being asked about the possibility of a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in January 2022, he remained cryptic.

“It’s a character in a world that I adore,” he explained. I don’t know,” responds “Who knows?” Obviously, Marvel has a plan and a strategy in place for how things are going to turn out.

I May Destroy You’s Michaela Coel and If Beale Street Could Talk’s Dominique Thorne (Riri Williams, aka Ironheart) have joined the cast as unknowns.

With Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned going to MIT at the end of No Way Home, might Riri lead to a Spider-Man crossover? As shown in the comic books, Riri attended MIT, and the sequel was supposedly shot there.

Release Date of Black Panther Wakanda Forever

The release date of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been pushed out to November 11, 2022, following the October 2021 delay.

The sequel replaces The Marvels, which is pushed back to February 17, 2023, a four-month delay from its original release date in July 2022. We’re crossing our fingers that this is the last cut of the film.

Filming began in June 2021, however there was a break from November 2021 until January 2022, as previously indicated. There was an additional week-long delay after the commencement of production in January 2022.

In February 2022, it was stated that there were four weeks of filming remaining when it resumed production. I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll have enough time to finish the sequel before it comes out in November.

What is Black Panther Wakanda Forever about in Black Panther 2?

All we know for sure about the sequel now that we know that T’Challa is not going to be recast is that it will focus on the world of Wakanda and beyond.

The first set photo doesn’t reveal much other than the fact that we’re all really excited.

There are still no confirmed narrative specifics for Wakanda 2, but we can expect to witness a wide spectrum of characters, as well as an in-depth exploration of the “mythology” of Wakanda.

Official narrative details have emerged from Production Weekly, confirming that the aquatic villain Namor will appear in Wakanda Forever.

Atlantis and Wakanda both exist in a state of isolation from the rest of the world because they have sophisticated technology and military capabilities, and in a sense, because they are afraid of what might happen to them.

For those who prefer the prequel approach, Kevin Feige’s previous comments about wanting to learn more about the Wakandan past would be a good starting point.

At the end of the film, T’Challa takes the herb again and meets his father, who’s like, ‘Hey, man.'” According to Entertainment Weekly, “We’ve kind of screwed up, and I want to change it.”

At some point, all of T’Chaka’s forebearers gather around him. ‘I want to see… what’s their storey?’ we would jokingly ask. What’s the saga behind that? Who was the first king of Wakanda, Bashenga, and how did he rule? Behind T’Chaka, there’s a third person. Who is he? In 1938, what was the plot of their storey in Wakanda? What a fantastic idea!

Everything begins with a simple exchange of ideas. We’ll have more opportunity to explore new locations and eras as more people demand that these stories be made available to them.

Is there any Black Panther Wakanda Forever footage in the Black Panther 2 Trailer?

Even if the filming is nearly complete, we won’t see anything until the summer, perhaps at Comic-Con. There is one thing we’d want to see though.

An official release date has been established on November 11, 2022 for the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Disney+ subscribers can view the film Black Panther.
