Is There Going to Be a Monster at Work in Season 2?

“Monsters at Work” is an animated show that takes us back to Monstropolis and is a sequel to the 2001 hit movie “Monsters, Inc.” It was made by Bobs Gannaway. The show brings us back to Mike and Sulley, two people we love.

They lead their company through a transitional period. We also learn about a lot of new monsters, including Tylor Tuskmon, a new employee who has to learn how to deal with the changes that are taking place at the company.

The show didn’t get very good reviews from critics. They thought it didn’t live up to the legacy of the movies. However, the people who watched the show seemed to enjoy it a lot, especially because the characters were so relatable and appealing.

The first season of the show was so funny and heartwarming that fans of the show must be curious to find out if we’ll be going back to Monstropolis in the future. In that case, let us tell you everything we know about the second season of “Monsters at Work.”

Monsters at Work Season 2 Release Date

When the first season of “Monsters at Work” came out on Disney+ on July 7, 2021, it aired until the end of the season on September 1, 2021. The first season of the show has 10 episodes that each last 22–24 minutes.

When it comes to a second installment, there has been no official statement from either the show’s creators or its parent company. However, because the show is so popular, there’s a good chance there will be a second season. The Disney Careers site recently put up a lot of job listings for people who want to work on the show’s production.

So, it looks like the second season is being worked on in the background. Since the first cycle of the show came to an end only recently, the studio might want to take a look at the show’s performance and viewership before announcing that it will be back. Season 2 of “Monsters at Work” could be on our screens sometime in Q3 2022 if everything goes well.

Monsters at Work Season 2 Voice Cast

Like Mike Wazowski, the senior vice president of Monsters, Inc. in the movie “Monsters at Work,” Billy Crystal voiced the role. During the same time, John Goodman comes back to voice James P. “Sulley” Sullivan, the CEO of Mosters, Inc., as well as Mike’s best friend. Besides Ben Feldman (Tyler Tuskmon), Mindy Kaling (Val), Henry Winkler (Fritz), and Lucas NEFFF (Lucas), there is a great voice cast (Duncan P. Anderson). Alanna Ubach is the voice of Katherine “Cutter” Sterns and a few other characters.

For the second season, most of the main cast is expected to return and voice their characters again, as they did in the first season. Bonnie Hunt, John Ratzenberger, and Aisha Tyler are some of the voice actors who have worked on the show before.

They’re also likely to be back for a second season. New voice actors might also be added if there is another season.

Monsters at Work Season 2 Plot: What can it be About?

When Monsters at Work starts, Tyler, who is a Scare Major, comes to Monsters Inc. in the first season. Tyler’s skills are useless because the company is going to start using laugh power. Afterward, Tyler tries to learn how to be a jokester.

His dream is to work with his favorite people, Mike and Sulley, and help them make movies. There are no more jokes to be made in the season finale. Tyler is officially promoted to the “Laugh Floor.” Monsters, Inc. is saved from shutting down after it was shown that laugh power is a good source of energy.

It’s possible that the second season of “Monsters, Inc.” will take the story in a new direction because it’s set between the end and the end of the first season. With Tyler now being a jokester, he is going to face a lot of new problems.

MIFT friends might not be able to keep in touch with him. We could also see Boo come back and meet up with Sulley again, too. A new person could change things between Mike and Sulley again, thanks to Boo.
