Two androids arrive on an unknown planet in Raised by Wolves. Their primary purpose appears to be to raise human children, but in this sci-fi dystopia, their aspirations do not always come true. Despite the fact that the HBO Max series’ first season was only recently completed, fans are eagerly anticipating a second season.
Raised by Wolves quickly became a top-performing original on WarnerMedia’s new streaming service, HBO Max, after posing the intriguing subject of what would happen if two androids raised humans. As a result, it was inevitable that Raised by Wolves would be renewed for a second season, and the ambitious series from Alien and Blade Runner director Ridley Scott has already been renewed.
Fans are understandably enthusiastic for season 2, and HBO president Max Sarah Aubrey’s description of the show should only add to that excitement.”I think of artistry when I think of Raised By Wolves,” Aubrey said in a statement (via Deadline).
“Artistry in crafting a compelling storyline, artistry in the out-of-this-world production design, special effects, and cinematography, artistry in our actors’ portrayals of these memorable characters, and artistry attached to the legendary work of Ridley Scott, Aaron Guzikowski, and our phenomenal crew.”
“This smash-hit series beautifully blends Ridley’s trademarks of science fiction and horror while providing viewers with one of the most unique plots they’ve seen in a long time. I’m excited to see what Season 2 has in store.”

When Will Raised by Wolves Season 2 Be Released?
Season 2 of Raised by Wolves has already been granted the green light, despite the fact that a release date for the latest installment has yet to be revealed. We can only estimate the release date of Raised by Wolves Season 2 based on prior seasons’ releases and production timeframes, like with other series.
With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, delays have become the norm, and forecasting a production schedule has become practically impossible.

The fact that HBO is notorious for its extremely ambitious series (and more than a few controversies) that often necessitate lengthier production timeframes adds to the problem (the ambitious shows, not the scandals).
It’s not unusual for an HBO show to take over a year to make. A premiere in 2022 or later is possible, but that schedule is purely speculative at this stage. For the record, season 1 launched on HBO Max on September 3, 2020, so an autumn 2021 release is still a possibility.
Who Is in the Second Season of Raised by Wolves’ Cast?
The precise cast of Raised by Wolves Season 2 will not be revealed until HBO Max makes an official announcement. However, based on the conclusion of the first season, we have a very solid sense of which actors should return for the second.
Of course, a Raised by Wolves Season 2 without Amanda Collin’s mother and Abubakar Salim’s father would be difficult to imagine. Marcus, played by Travis Fimmel, Campion, played by Winta McGrath, and Sue, played by Niamh Algar, are all expected to return.

Because their tales from season 1 are still open, Aasiya Shah as Holly, Ethan Hazzard as Hunter, Felix Jamieson as Paul, Ivy Wong as Vita, Jordan Loughran as Tempest, and others could appear in season 2.
It’s unclear where the show’s creators plan to take Raised by Wolves, but there’s a good chance other cast members may be added as the plot progresses, so keep tuned for official word from the production team.
What Happens in Season 2 of Raised by Wolves?
The plot of Raised by Wolves Season 2 is yet unknown, but if the finale of the first season is any indication, chapter 2 will feature more of Mother’s strange snake baby, as well as Mother and Father on the tropical side of the planet Kepler-22b.
Although a lot can happen between now and the start of season 2, and season 1 left a lot of things unanswered, showrunner Aaron Guzikowski has already dropped several bombshells.

“There will be more flashbacks [in season 2] and perhaps some present-day Earth looks as well to see what might be going on thereafter everything is gone, because there are still necromancers on Earth,” Guzikowski told Collider in an interview.
“The majority of them were left behind. Obviously, the Mithraic didn’t want to bring any with them. They’d had enough of them and didn’t trust them any longer. So, with the exception of the one they discovered waiting for them on Kepler-22b, they left them on Earth.”
