What to Expect From Dynasty Season 5? Episodes, Streaming Information, and Live Streaming Options

Season 5 of Dynasty has arrived in the United States, and it will air in the United Kingdom later in 2022. The reboot of the beloved US soap opera premiered in 2017, providing us with four rollercoaster seasons following the Carrington family as they compete for money and power with each other and everyone around them.

Dynasty is one of the few reboots that has become a big hit — so big, in fact, that the fifth season was announced before the fourth season had even aired.

The Plot of Dynasty Season 5

As you may recall, the fourth season of the CW show ended with Fallon being shot by her evil, husband-stealing assistant, Eva, at a major event for Blake’s campaign… but while her fate is unknown, we do know that the new season will be packed with drama.

According to reports, season five will be full of twists and turns as Blake and Cristal work on the next phase of his campaign, Alexis remains in jail after Adam managed to get her arrested, and Amanda investigates who might be responsible for the murder.

Season 5 of Dynasty Has a Release Date

Season 5 of Dynasty began with two Christmas specials that aired on The CW in the United States on Monday, December 20, 2021. But don’t worry if you missed it; US viewers can catch up on the holiday episodes on The CW website.

The rest of the season has begun, with the show returning to our screens on March 11. Episodes are now airing on The CW at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) on Friday nights. Season 5 of Dynasty is currently available on Netflix in the United Kingdom, but no release date has been announced.

Seasons have previously been released on the streaming channel after they have finished airing in the United States, implying that season 5 could arrive in September/October.

The good news is that the entire season, including the two-part Christmas special, is expected to be released on Netflix all at once, which means you won’t have to watch the episodes weekly like you do on The CW. So brace yourself for some serious binge-watching.

Is There a Trailer for Season 5 of Dynasty?

While there isn’t a full trailer for the new season as a whole, there is one for the Christmas specials. It’s Christmastime at Casa Carrington in the festive trailer, but there’s not much holiday cheer going on, as Blake points out, “this is definitely not the most wonderful time of the year.”

And, just to make fans even more nervous, Fallon is nowhere to be found in the trailer, leaving us with no idea whether Fallon died prematurely or not. While it’s unlikely that they’d actually kill Fallon, the expressions on Liam, Culhane, Sam, and Kirby’s faces don’t give us much hope about her condition.
