Season 4 of Daredevil, the Reboot Series, Will Begin Filming in the Coming Months

In “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Marvel Studios gave comic book fans what they’d been asking for for a long time. Charlie Cox, who played Matt Murdock, or Daredevil, came back as Matt Murdock in the movie.

Fans were excited about Matt Murdock again after seeing the actor in just one scene of the superhero event film. He played Peter Parker’s “very good lawyer,” and his brief appearance was enough to make them excited about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Vincent D’Onofrio, who played Wilson Fisk, also played Kingpin in “Hawkeye” last year, also played Kingpin in that movie. It was the first time the actor had played the bad guy since “Daredevil” was canceled in 2018. (via The Hollywood Reporter). If Hawkeye didn’t help D’Onofrio’s chances in the MCU like Spider-Man: No Way Home did with Cox, then it didn’t help.

Cox and D’Onofrio came back to the MCU, and now everyone wants to know: Will Marvel ever bring back “Daredevil” for a fourth season? As of now, there is no clear answer to that question. However, if there is ever a fourth season of “Daredevil,” Charlie Cox has some ideas about how the show might look when it comes back.

Charlie Cox Thinks Daredevil Will Be “a Little Different” if It Ever Comes Back.

The first three seasons of “Daredevil” were made in a very different time than they are now. Not only is the studio working on new TV shows for Disney+ right now, but it also wants to make sure that all of the Marvel shows on the service are connected to the movies in a way that “Daredevil” never was before.

Because Daredevil Season 4 would have to be very different from its predecessors, that doesn’t mean it would have to be very different from them. That question might not be as simple as fans think, says Charlie Cox.

“I don’t think it makes sense to pick up where we left off,” Cox said at the 2022 Middle East Film and Comic-Con (via Total Film). The actor said that he thinks “Daredevil” Season 4 will start “a few years” after the show’s Season 3 finale.

It’s a reference to “Daredevil: Born Again,” which is a well-known comic book storyline about Kingpin finding out about Daredevil’s secret identity and trying to destroy Matt Murdock’s life. It’s a very dark story, which makes one wonder if Marvel Studios would ever use parts of it in one of its Disney+ TV shows.

Born Again is a good example of how superhero stories can be told. Even if Daredevil Season 4 isn’t as dark as Born Again, the story is still a good example of how superhero stories can be told, which is why Cox talked about it.
