Countless titles were presented by Netflix at the start of the year 2020, and Spinning Out was one of them. It premiered on January 1, 2020, and stars Kaya Scodelari as a teenage ice skater who is granted a second opportunity to show her abilities.
Does the fact that the first season finished on a cliffhanger imply that the programme will return for a second season? Here’s what we currently know.

Is Season 2 of Spinning Out Confirmed to Be on the Way?
Unfortunately, Netflix has already cancelled the show less than a month after it premiered on the platform. Netflix’s decision appears to be final, despite the pleas of fans who have urged the streaming site to reconsider its decision.
It appears that fans will never find out what happens to Kat Baker (Kaya Scodelari) and bad boy Justin (Evan Roderick) at the conclusion of season one of the television series. This is definitely devastating news for the fans involved.
Netflix, on the other hand, has a history of axing series without hesitation anytime they choose. The cause for the cancellation has not been revealed at this time. In addition, it’s worth mentioning that Netflix has always been tight-lipped about its viewing numbers, so there’s no way to tell whether the programme underperformed as a result of its discontinuation.
What Is the Storyline of Spinning Out About?
Spin Out is a drama that centres on Kat Baker, a promising competitive ice skater who is hiding a mental illness called bipolar disorder. She was involved in an unfortunate accident during one of her contests, and she believed that her ice skating career was finally coming to an abrupt end.
When Kat meets Justine, a skilled bad-boy ice skater who later becomes her partner for the Olympics duet ice skating competition, she is given a second chance at pursuing her dream. Several difficulties derailed Kat and Justine’s growing romance, and by the conclusion of season 1, the bad boy had decided to sever his personal and professional connection with the actress.
The two of them then travel to Sectionals, which is being held at the same rink where Kat had experienced her horrific fall earlier in the season.
With the cancellation of the programme, there’s no way of knowing if Kat will ever be able to achieve success in the same industry in which she failed so spectacularly during her career. As the tournament progresses, the public will have no way of knowing what will happen to her and Justine.

Is This a Series That Will Inspire You?
Spinning out has aided millions of people who are hurting, and many of them opt to conceal their misery rather than seek medical attention. Instead, the series is uncompromising in its portrayal of the disease. In fact, one of the characters is forced to use a wheelchair when her drinking problem causes her marriage and life to crumble.
A close friend, who also happens to be a well-known neurologist and Harvard Medical School professor, informed us that the software may be extremely valuable to millions of people all over the world, and we agreed.
We regret that Netflix will not continue Spinning Out in the same way that it has done with other programmes such as 13 Reasons Why, which was utterly negative and even featured a final season that was a waste of time and resources.
