When Will Season 9 of ‘Wentworth’ Premiere on Netflix?

“Wentworth,” the gripping Australian prison drama everyone’s been watching on Netflix, tells the storey of newly jailed Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack) for the first few seasons. It then shifts its attention to a larger group of people.

Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black” is a good comparison, but “Wentworth” is a lot more violent than that show. HBO’s violent prison show “Oz” might be a better spiritual cousin. To be fair, though, “Wentworth” is very much a different kind of animal than most other shows.

For eight seasons, the show hasn’t been afraid to put its characters through a wringer. It’s probably safe to say that fans who want to know who will live to see the end of the show can’t wait for the ninth season to finish off all the dangling plot lines. “Wentworth” Season 9 is said to be the last episode of the long-running show.

What’s the Release Date for Wentworth Season 9?

It can be hard to wait for new episodes of your favourite show after you watch a lot of it. Need to get approved, write the script and shoot the new season to make it happen even after everything is done and the post-production is done, the show still has to find a place in the release schedule.

That’s even before you take into account all the problems and delays the COVID-19 pandemic could cause. This is good news: Fortunately, “Wentworth” Season 9 has already been made and is just waiting to be released on Netflix.

If you live in the United States, you’ll still have to wait for a while to see the show. Season 9 will start in Australia on August 24 and will run for ten straight weeks without a break. When the show ends in Australia on October 26, you can expect the whole last batch of episodes to show up on Netflix the next day, October 27.

In Wentworth Season 9, What Is the Main Storey Line?

There are going to be a lot of closures in “Wentworth” Season 9 because these are its last episodes. There will also be a lot of dramatic twists and turns, but not before there are plenty of dramatic twists and turns. The most important storyline might be between Allie Novak (Kate Jenkinson) and Judy Bryant (Julia Bryant), a violent cyber-terrorist who joined the show for Season 8. (Vivienne Awosoga).

Judy is a truly terrifying person. In Season 8, she steals Lou’s money and plans the assassination of a high-ranking U.S. official. At the end of the season, she stabs Allie in the shower. Whether Allie lives or dies in Season 9 is going to be a big question.

If anyone finds out even a small amount of Judy’s bad deeds, she’s going to be in big trouble. It should be interesting to see how things play out and who comes up against her. Another major point in the storey is likely to be the fate of Joan Ferguson, the closest thing the show has to the main villain.

When “The Freak” comes back in Season 8, it’s very clear that she will be a big part of Season 9, too. Joan has a lot of problems with a lot of people, so the last season of “Wentworth” is almost certain to be very interesting and dramatic.
