The Release Date for Anatomy of a Scandal Has Been Officially Announced!

Anatomy of a Scandal is based on Sarah Vaughan’s best-selling book, which takes a fascinating look at a scandal that engulfs British politics. Anatomy Of A Scandal, a big Netflix series set to premiere in April 2022, stars Homeland’s Rupert Friend as British MP James White House, who is accused of a horrific crime.

David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Goliath) developed, wrote, and executive produced this suspense thriller, which explores the murky secrets that are so easily hidden beneath positions of power and luxury.

In the role of James’ wife Sophie, Sienna Miller portrays a woman who will stop at nothing to keep her family together, while Michelle Dockery plays a lawyer who would stop at nothing to file criminal charges against James.
Sienna says she was a big fan of the novel and her character, Sophie.

Anatomy of a Scandal Plot

The six-part drama Anatomy Of A Controversy examines a Westminster scandal through the eyes of the courts. James Whitehouse, a suave and ambitious junior minister, is accused of rape, and he is played by Rupert Friend.

However, his wife Sophie (Sienna Miller) is persuaded that her husband is innocent and resolves to protect her family from the impact of the scandal, which threatens his promising profession and high-profile marriage. It’s a pity, but she’s aware of James’s dark secrets.

Release Date of Anatomy of a Scandal

Netflix will release Anatomy of a Scandal at 8 a.m. GMT on April 15th, 2022. David E Kelley (Big Little Lies) and former House Of Cards showrunner Melissa James Gibson have teamed together for the six-part Netflix adaptation. The series will be helmed by S.J. Clarkson in May 2020, according to a press release (Succession, Jessica Jones).
