Everything You Need to Know About Sabrina Season 3’s Release Date, Cast, Storyline, and Trailer Is Right Here.
Witches, you know who deserves praise. Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is getting a frightening new season. After months of mystery and anticipation, Netflix has finally confirmed Sabrina Spellman’s return to the streaming world – which means fans of the show should start practicing their incantations and storing up on black candles in anticipation of season 3.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is based on the classic Archie Horror comic books of the same name and chronicles the struggles of half-mortal, half-witch young Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) as she strives to manage the increasingly different sides of her life.
The show’s first two seasons covered contentious issues such as religious freedom, gender equality, sexual identity, and even fate itself. This unholy version of the Sabrina Spellman saga has done so with a singularly silly mix of savvy teen drama and gothic supernatural horror.
A mix that has made this unholy version of the Sabrina Spellman saga one of the most bingeworthy originals Netflix has ever released – and there’s little doubt that won’t change with the show’s upcoming run of episodes. Here’s everything we know about Season 3 of Sabrina the Teenage Witch so far.

Who Will Appear in the Third Season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina?
Now that we have a better sense of what to expect in season 3 of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, it’s a little simpler to guess who will be assisting the increasingly powerful young witch in her daring exploits. In case it wasn’t clear, Kiernan Shipka will be reprising his role as Sabrina.
There doesn’t appear to be much of a shake-up among the series’ regular supporting cast for the upcoming season, which means Ross Lynch (Harvey), Jaz Sinclair (Rosalind), and Lachlan Watson (Theo) will all be reprising their roles as Sabrina’s best friends and members of the aforementioned “Fright Club.”
Fans of the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina can rest easy knowing that Lucy Davis (Wonder Woman) and Miranda Otto (The Lord of the Rings trilogy) will reprise their roles as Sabrina’s aunts Hilda and Zelda, with Chance Perdomo returning as cousin Ambrose. Michelle Gomez will reprise her role as Mrs.
Wardwell (a.k.a. Madame Satan), as well as Gavin Leather wood’s Nick Scratch, for obvious reasons. Netflix has yet to reveal who will play the season’s new villain Caliban, but you can bet that the Weird Sisters — Prudence (Tati Gabrielle), Agatha (Adeline Rudolph).
Dorcas (Abigail Cowen) — will be prominently featured in whatever unholy action he’s about to unfold on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3. It’s safe to assume that Richard Coyle’s shady Father Blackwood will be involved as well.
While there will undoubtedly be witches, warlocks, and demons there, we’re guessing that the most of the new faces arriving in Greendale for Season 3 will be from the wicked carnival of pagans described in the synopsis. What kind of mayhem the carny crew will unleash on Sabrina and her pals remains to be seen.
What Is the Plot of the Third Season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina?
The first trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 was enigmatic and brief, featuring Sabrina standing in a cloud of smoke, wearing a hooded crimson cape, and a frightening voice in the background saying, “Welcome to Hell.”
Obviously, the teaser wasn’t supposed to reveal much about what will happen in the upcoming season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, other than the fact that Sabrina will surely visit the region of fire and brimstone at some point.
Netflix, thankfully, released a full-length trailer for the second season in January 2020, along with a plot synopsis: “As Sabrina navigates a sinister new normal — with the support of Greendale’s bravest allies — love and loyalty are tested to their limits.” Season 3 of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has Sabrina dealing with the fallout from season 2: she killed Lucifer, who took up residence in the body of Sabrina’s boyfriend, Nick Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood).
Nick is burning in Hell this time, and Madam Satan (Michelle Gomez) is keeping a close eye on him. Sabrina plans to release Nick from his burning captivity and bring him to Earth with the help of her best friends Harvey (Ross Lynch), Rosalind (Jaz Sinclair), and Theo (Lachlan Watson), who have formed the “Fright Club.”
However, now that the Dark Lord is no longer in charge, Hell’s equilibrium has been thrown off, and both Heaven and the human realm are out of whack. Sabrina must climb to become Queen of Hell while facing another contender for the title, the gorgeous Prince of Hell Caliban, and defending her coven from a pagan cult roaming Greendale.
