Along for the Ride is a forthcoming American drama film written and directed by Sofia Alvarez, who is making her directorial debut.
Sofia is most known for writing the screenplays for “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You,” two critically praised teen romantic comedy films.
The film is based on the same-named novel by Sarah Dessen, released by “Viking Children’s Books” in 2009. Under the umbrella of Screen Arcade, Bryan Unkeless and Eric Newman are financing it.
Luca Del Puppo and Justin Chan are in charge of cinematography and editing, respectively. Beach House, an American musical group, provides the soundtrack to the film.

Plots of Along for the Ride
Along for the Ride follows Auden, a soon-to-be college student who is enjoying her last summer before joining Defriese University on a scholarship.

Auden, on the other hand, spends most of her nights walking the streets, avoiding almost everyone else. When Auden meets a mysterious fellow insomniac named Eli, his life begins to change.
Auden and Eli embarked on their nightly adventures in order to fulfil Auden’s childhood dreams and make amends for her upbringing.
By experiencing life to the fullest with each other, they learn a lot about themselves and why they’ve always remained in the shadows.
