Plot of Elfen Lied
Lucy is a “Diclonius,” a peculiar type of person born with small telekinetic horns and invisible telekinetic hands. As a result, the authorities will subject her to rigorous scientific testing.
Lucy is devastated by torture and incarceration, and when she is able to flee her captors under the right circumstances, she releases a torrent of blood.
During her breakout, she suffers a severe head injury, leading her to split into two personalities: one with a child’s perspective and limited communication abilities, and the other with an adult’s mindset.
She is insane when she comes across two college students, Kouta and his friend Yuka, who, despite her violent tendencies, take in the wounded fugitive and care for her without realizing it.
An act of kindness could transform their life when they are in the dark secret domain of the state, as well as conspiracy.
