The characters have an enthralling quality. Many of the characters in Drifters are mythological and historical figures from Japan’s history. Shimazu Toyohisa, a brave samurai from the Shimazu clan, was killed in the Sekigahara battle.

What Will Happen in Season 2 of Drifters?
This show is a must-see for isekai fans. During the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, Toyohisa Shimazu was critically wounded. With a snap, he’s transported to a bright white corridor lined with doors.
Everything changed when he was pulled through one of the doors. The next thing he knew, he was in a world unlike his own, filled with strange creatures such as Hobbits, dwarves, and dragons.
It turns out that all of Toyohisa’s great warriors who were thought to be dead were alive and well in Toyohisa’s world, and they were all summoned there as Drifters.
It’s a group of people gathered by a mysterious character to fight the villains who are attempting to destroy their world. The bad guys are called “the Ends,” which is perfect! Ends are becoming increasingly powerful, and it’s up to our unlikely heroes to save the demihumans from extinction.
Season two will undoubtedly continue the story and intensify the battle, and we are eagerly anticipating it.
When Will the Second Season of Drifters Be Released?
Drifters does not yet have a release date. Season 2 has been confirmed by the studio, but nothing else has been announced. There is no information on how the series is progressing.
We don’t believe that production has even begun. Season One’s success, which consumed four volumes in just 13 episodes, has resulted in a second season with only eight episodes.
With only two volumes airing so far, it’s unclear who will produce the second season of Drifter. The next episode will not be made until the storyline has more planned plot points from which to draw material for a new series of episodes.
