The Kardashians Season 1 finale debuted on Hulu less than a month ago, and the streaming site has announced the family’s comeback.
The Kardashians have become such a persistent presence in internet debate that it’s becoming more difficult to discern their regular lives from what they choose to display on television.
What is the difference between personal and professional branding? What is the difference between a basic Instagram post and fodder for a subplot? Isn’t everyone just a cog in the huge PR machine that is the Kardashian family?
Perhaps, but in any case, the aforementioned powerhouse appears eager to produce content, including another season of Hulu’s The Kardashians. (And if you, like me, had a grudging flutter of delight when Pete Davidson appeared—by voice, at least—in the first season’s finale, you’re in luck.)

Spoiler Alert
Hulu wrapped up the first season with a dramatic ending in which Khloé Kardashian learns through her sister, Kim, that her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, had cheated on her yet again and fathered a kid with another woman.
Meanwhile, her mother, Kris, is busy recording a song of “Jingle Bells” with Kourtney Kardashian’s then-fiancé, Travis Barker (and now husband). But the holiday cheer only lasts long enough for Kris to receive an unsettling phone call. Psyche! A “To Be Continued…” title card in millennial pink flashes across the screen. We’re already holding our breath.
Everything we know about the show’s likely return is detailed here.

The Kardashians transferred their reality series to Hulu in part because the streaming service could provide them with a faster turnaround time.
That’s good news for fans, who may look forward to a quick season 3 even before season 2 starts.
What will season 2 feature?
Almost probably Travis and Kourtney’s wedding(s). The Kardashians showrunner revealed to Distractive that cameras were present for their Vegas not-wedding, but video from the couple’s far grander, Dolce & Gabbana-sponsored Italian extravaganza is also likely.

We also expect to see footage of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s new baby, maybe with a name announcement, as well as the turmoil surrounding Kim’s Met Gala gown.

A new teaser clip released in conjunction with Hulu’s release date announcement provides more fodder: Season 2 appears to be on the family’s legal struggle with Blac Chyna, Kim’s ongoing friendship with Saturday Night Live alum Pete (“Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?” was a surprise), and Kourtney’s anguish following the betrayal of her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Who will make an appearance?
Kim, Kris, Khloé, Kourtney, Travis, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Scott Disick, and their many children are all expected to appear.
The big unknown is Pete, Kim’s suddenly “very serious” boyfriend, who only appears as a disembodied voice in the season 1 conclusion and in a seconds-long clip at the end of the Hulu teaser.
Could he have more time for on-camera confessionals now that he’s officially quitting Saturday Night Live? Time will only tell.
