On Koffee With Karan, Akshay Kumar Discusses What Prompted Him to Purchase the Home He Now Lives!
Akshay Kumar spilt the beans in the most recent episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan Season 7 about how he was able to acquire a sea-facing bungalow in Mumbai after filming a few films in the interview that was hosted by Karan Johar.
Discover the reason why he appreciated Sunny Deol here. On Thursday, the episode of Koffee With Karan Season 7 that featured actor Akshay Kumar and actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu was shown, making them the most recent celebs to appear on the show.
During the course of the presentation, Akshay Kumar recounted the experience of purchasing the opulent home in Juhu, Mumbai, that overlooks the sea.
He explained how he was able to improve his financial situation while working on the film Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani with director Rajkumar Kohli.
When Karan Johar urged that Akshay tell how his faith allowed him to afford his Mumbai apartment, Akshay explained how he went from making 5,000 from teaching martial arts to 21,000 after working on an ad shoot for only two hours.
Karan Johar insisted that Akshay share how his faith benefited him. The actor reflected on his time spent working on the set of Jaani Dushman by saying, “I got paid on a per-day basis.”
The bad guy had just killed me, and now I was dead on the floor. I learned that the other hero who was going to be playing was currently stranded in New York and would not be arriving.
He would not be coming. In response to this, Akshay stated that he had a conversation with Rajkumar, which altered his on-screen timing and resulted in his earning more money.
I went to the director and asked him directly, ‘Should I come back?’ You are not going to believe what he did, that is for sure.”
Almost immediately, the director came to the conclusion that the plot needed some adjustments and lengthened Akshay’s screen time.
“When he says “he is not dead,” it signifies that I (the character Akshay portrays), am in a coma but will eventually come back to life.

Therefore, I continued to work as a model for the following five days, and I made more money. Akshay’s unintended gains from the film enabled him to make the initial down payment on the bungalow in Juhu that he shares with his wife, Twinkle Khanna, and their children, Aarav and Nitara.
“Today where I stay, I needed money to buy that property, and it’s because of Jaani Dushman, I have got that place,” the actor stated, adding that he kept making money and eventually paid for the complete house.
He also said that Jaani Dushman was responsible for his getting that place. Akshay was requested by Samantha Ruth Prabhu to name the actor who was unable to make it to the shoot of Jaani Dushman, and when Akshay was prompted to do so, he named Sunny Deol.
During that time, Sunny was in the United States for the surgery on his back. During the show, Akshay also discussed the key to his successful marriage, Twinkle, as well as strategies for combating online trolls.

Akshay will be seen next in Raksha Bandhan, opposite Bhūmi Pednekar, Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna and Smrithi Srikanth. On August 11, 2022, the movie will be made available to watch in theaters.
