It's possible that Gigi Hadid will stop modelling garments and instead start creating them in the near future. On her Instagram account, the American supermodel who is of Palestinian and Dutch ancestry has posted a teaser for the imminent launch of her apparel company, Guest in Residence.
On Thursday, she published a collection of images connected to the event, which included swatches of various fabrics, heaps of knitwear, and a design for a comfortable hoodie.
In the caption on the photo, she said, “Been workin' on something.” “With love, @guestinresidence,” the tweet concluded.
In addition to that, she modified her bio on Instagram such that it now describes her as the creator and creative director of Guest in Residence.
Although Gigi Hadid provided links to the Guest in Residence Instagram account and website, there is not much information available regarding the concept.
When the designs will be released and where they will be sold are both mysteries at this point. Despite this, many people, both friends and followers, have voiced their enthusiasm for the initiative.
Tan France, who serves as the fashion expert on the reimagined version of “Queer Eye” on Netflix, expressed her excitement over the new collection by writing in the comments section, “I can't wait for everyone to get to see this line.”
In a remark on the photo, Hadid's sister Bella Hadid referred to this moment as “what we've all been waiting for.” Hadid has demonstrated her prowess as a designer in the past by collaborating with other fashion designers on limited edition collections and one-of-a-kind pieces.
For example, in May she released a swimwear collection that she had collaborated on with Frankie's Bikinis. Additionally, she has produced work that she has done in conjunction with Reebok and Tommy Hilfiger.
