What Happened to Mike in Sing 2: Who is the Director of This Series?
It was only a matter of time before a sequel to the 2016 film Sing, which grossed over $630 million around the world at the box office, made its way onto our screens and started singing its way into our hearts.
Fans were eager to discover what happens next in Buster Moon and the gang’s musical story when the highly-anticipated sequel finally arrived in theaters in the United States in December 2021.
It had been a long time coming. However, due to the fact that Mike the mouse was absent from Sing 2, viewers are left wondering what happened to one of the characters.

What Happened to Mike in Sing 2?
In the movie “Sing,” released in 2016, Mike the mouse, whose voice was provided by Seth McFarlane, starts out the movie as a haughty character whose only goal is to win the $100,000 reward advertised on the flyers.
Mike has no way of knowing, however, that the reward is actually only $1,000 because an error in the flyers was made by Buster Moon’s elderly assistant, Miss Crawly.
Mike has no way of knowing this. Mike, fooling himself into thinking that the prize money is just as good as his own, spends it on a flashy new car and then uses it to con a group of Russian bear mobsters out of their money in a game of cards.

The bears do not take kindly to the deception and track Mike down to Buster’s theater. When they learn that Mike does not have the money to pay up, the bears become furious with Mike.
Following the incredible performance of “My Way” that Mike gives for his audience, the bears come back and chase the mouse away in his new car. After that, the mouse is never seen or heard from again.
Fans Speculate About What Will Happen to Mike the Mouse.
It is safe to say that the plight of Mike has emerged as a major point of discussion among Sing fans, with a great number of individuals posing various hypotheses regarding what took place to the mouse.
A common thread that runs through many of the hypotheses is the idea that Mike met an untimely demise as a result of getting on the opposing team with the bear mobsters.
On the online community forum known as Quora, a supporter posed the following question: “My guess is that Mike came to a sticky end.”

Unfortunately for Seth McFarlane, he won’t be able to make an appearance in the sequels. On the other hand, a different supporter’s perspective on Quora was somewhat more upbeat: “I think Mike got away with his girlfriend in the car.”
It seems as though they turned around as soon as the bear stood up on the back of the car, saw the bear, and then drove off with the bear in the car to the curb.
The next step is for them to travel to the residence of the girlfriend and wait there for some time until it is safe to leave.
And finally, a user on Reddit offered three arguments in favor of the hypothesis that Mike’s life was cut short by an unfortunate event:
“1. “Where did the mouse go? ” Given that Mike is a mouse, you could say that it is a pun.
“2. He sang ‘My Way’ that night… According to the urban legend, the person who sings that song will inevitably pass away.
“3. It is safe to say that he has passed away seeing as how some of us have already established that there is no Mike in Sing 2.”
The first point is an allusion to a cliché from the world of television known as “What happened to the mouse?” Supposedly, this trope occurs in a movie or television show when a minor character mysteriously disappears after playing their part in the narrative.

A number of fans believe that this is the reason why Mike the mouse mysteriously vanished.
Sing 2 Release Date and Plot
Sing 2 was initially released in theaters in the United States on December 22nd, and then it was released in the United Kingdom on January 28th.
The events of the first film take place a few years after the beginning of the sequel, and it continues the story of Buster Moon as he searches for his next major hit after the success of the New Moon Theater.
However, Buster may have taken on more than he can handle as he plans a performance at the Crystal Tower Theater in Redshore City.
In order to make the show even more spectacular, the ever-optimistic koala and the gang need to convince rock legend Clay Calloway to join them in their performance.
