The manga series of the same name served as the inspiration for the dark fantasy anime TV program Vampire Knight. The program is known as Vanpaia Naito in Japan. Matsuri Hino wrote and drew the manga series.
It debuted on November 4, 2004, and it was available until May 24, 2013. About halfway through its run, it was picked up for an anime TV series, and on April 8, 2008, Vampire Knight Season 1 premiered.
The anime was immediately embraced by both regular viewers and newcomers to the manga series, and a second season was promptly ordered.
The release of the second season happened quickly. Vampire Knight Season 2 premiered on October 7, 2008, for the first time.
A Vampire Knight: Gekiai no Portrait original video animation (OVA) episode was also released on November 26, 2008.

Vampire Knights Season 3 Release Date
Vampire Knight’s second season, titled Vampire Knight: Guilty, began on October 7 and ran until December 30 of the same year.
There has been a delay of more than 10 years since that time, and it is still unknown if Vampire Knight will return for a third season. A third season of Vampire Knight is also becoming less and less likely every day.
Anime shows are frequently renewed after a few years, while a show being renewed beyond ten years is almost unheard of, though not impossible.
Although there is no verified information regarding the release date of this series, we can infer that Vampire Knight season 3 will premiere in 2023 or 2024, which seems like a very long time from now.
Nothing can be said with surety until the show’s future is made public. We’ll make sure to update this section if there are any Season 3 of Vampire Knight updates.
Vampire Knights Season 3 Plot
The primary character of Vampire Knight is Yuki Cross. She attends the boarding school Cross Academy. She was adopted as a youngster by the headmaster of the institution, who brought her up as his own.
Yuki has no recollection of her early years. The last thing she recalls is being rescued from a vampire by Kaname Kuran.

Since Kaname has always been kind to her, her affection for him develops into a lifelong crush, which initially seems unbalanced because he is a royal pureblood, and she is only a human.
But when Yuki’s childhood friend Zero declares his love for her, Kaname’s genuine emotions start to come through. Zero is a vampire hunter who despises vampires; nonetheless, he accidentally transforms into one, and Yuki provides him with some of her blood to slake his desire.
Zero complies only out of necessity; yet, he detests the person he has become into. As he wages war with himself, he loses more and more control over Yuki despite his desire to protect her.
The revelation that Yuki is also a pureblood vampire and that Kaname’s bite causes her to remember who she really is startled fans of Vampire Knight.
People were shocked to find that they are related and had been engaged since they were little even though they have a romantic relationship.
As the story comes to a close, Yuki decides to leave Cross Academy with Kaname after long-forgotten memories of her early years resurface.
Zero vowed to kill Yuki the next time they crossed paths as a merciless vampire hunter after she departed, and she acted on his sinister threat.
