Early Life of Bob Saget
On May 17, 1956, Robert Lane Saget, also known as Bob, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His relatives are Jews. His mother, Rosalyn “Dolly,” worked as a hospital administrator, while his father, Benjamin, was an executive at a supermarket.
Before returning to Philadelphia, he lived briefly in California as a child and attended Abington Senior High School. He continued his schooling at Temple University where he studied film after graduating from high school in 1975.
