She shouldn’t just shout in a high-pitched, obnoxious voice all the time. When she does speak, her voice is strange and annoying. The second character is Haniwa, the daughter, who plays the part rather than acting it.

I wished she would die off throughout Season 1. It was really annoying because she disregarded everything her father said and did and always thought she was right.

It’s possible that she isn’t meant for us to like, but it would be better if we did. She was better and less annoying in Season 2 of the program, I must admit.

I have no issue with women playing tougher, more violent characters who can fight, but the trend has turned completely the other way to the point where it is silly and no longer believable.

Every show now routinely portrays women as stronger fighters than males, which is just ludicrous. Some of these altercations between women are ridiculous.

Their kicks and punches don’t seem to be able to hurt a kid, but they can knock out a 250-pound man in one strike? Despite these minor faults, I would still recommend the show to anyone who likes fantasy or action.
