Stevie Nicks and Billy Joel, both inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, have announced that they will co-headline a series of three concerts in the spring of 2023.
This will be the first time that the two artists perform together on the same stage. The pair will perform at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on April 8, the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 10, and the Nissan Stadium in Nashville on May 19, with the promise of at least a few more concerts of this nature to come in the near future.
The performances are being oddly promoted as “one-night-only,” despite the fact that their collaboration is obviously not a one-and-done deal.
The succession of dates that have been revealed makes it clear that their collaboration amounts to at the very least a mini-tour. On Wednesday, the details of the first show in Arlington were revealed, along with hints that preparations are underway for a larger event.
Stevie Nicks posted on her social media accounts that she was “excited to hit the road with the amazing @billyjoel in 2023, along with the times and dates for the sale of tickets for the concert at AT&T Stadium.
“More soon! Early on Thursday morning, it was announced that there would be the third show in Los Angeles. In a statement, Live Nation and SoFi said that the show would be “the spectacular one-night-only show marks the first time the two have ever performed on the same stage in Los Angeles.”
