Top Chef Canada, which has been one of Food Network’s highest-rated programmes, is an example of the best form of entertainment that culinary shows provide.
Top Chef Canada features some of the toughest and most exciting competitions with no unnecessary drama and only skill-based demonstrations.
The series was first broadcast in April 2011 and was inspired by its American counterpart. Since then, there have been numerous changes, but the challenges remain equally exciting.
This season will be hosted by Eden Grinshpan, and the judges will be Mark McEwan, Chris Nuttall-Smith, Mijune Pak, Janet Zuccaro, and David Zilber, an expert fermenter and food scientist.
As usual, not all judges will appear in each episode, as they are typically assigned based on the competition or their availability. Unfortunately, David Zilber stepped down as a judge of the show after a few episodes.
Eleven contestants from diverse backgrounds are vying for the title of Top Chef Canada and large cash prizes.

Recap of Top Chef Canada Season 10, Episode 6
The previous episode, which aired on October 31, 2022, began with the judges choosing between Monica and Vish, with Monica ultimately being eliminated.
The competitors then begin the episode’s quickfire challenge, which requires them to prepare a dish with two distinct flavour profiles. Ricardo Larrivée, a renowned chef, served as the guest judge.
Deseree ultimately wins the competition, while Trevane receives the lowest score. This grants Deseree a monetary award of $5,000 CAD. The Elimination task required contestants to prepare dishes based on the preferences of various judges and their partners’ typical Date Night preferences.
The judges and their families arrive at a restaurant as the chefs begin preparing their respective dishes. Judge Mijune Pak had requested an exciting dish, but Vish’s dish lacked both flavour and flair. Camilo ultimately wins first place, while Trevane and Vish place last.
The judges then decide to eliminate Vish, while Trevane will join the remaining contestants in the Cayman Islands, the culinary capital of the Caribbean.
What to Expect From Top Chef Canada’s Season 10, Episode 7?
As the crew departs for the Cayman Islands, the next episode will begin with a Quickfire competition between the final four competitors. The theme will be Happy Hour food preparation.
The contestants will then be required to prepare dishes using only Cayman Island-grown ingredients for a large event to which all island residents will be invited.
