How Did Mike and Ximena From ’90 Day Fiancé Meet?

Mike and Ximena first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in December 2021. Mike was a 34-year-old IT support technician and volunteer firefighter from Thiells, New York, at the time.

He admitted that he hadn’t had much luck with love throughout his life and that the last serious girlfriend he had was in high school. He changed his location to Colombia after not getting many dates through dating apps in his area, and almost immediately matched with Ximena.

Ximena, a single mother of two young children, was a 24-year-old manicurist. Mike documented his journey from the United States to her hometown of Pereira, Colombia, to meet her for the first time.

While the couple appeared to get along, they were confronted with a number of issues, such as Ximena’s secret that she couldn’t have any more children because her tubes were tied, or when she confronted Mike about his bad habits, such as passing gas and leaving dirty clothes on the floor.

Fans were also sceptical of the Colombian beauty after she revealed that Mike had paid her rent and purchased furniture and appliances for her flat while they were dating. Many people believed she was in the relationship for the wrong reasons and was only there for his money.

While it appeared that the couple was doomed to fail on the show, they also sparked online breakup rumours in real-time. Mike and Ximena listed each other’s Instagram handles with a heart-eyes emoji on Valentine’s Day; however, they removed the listing three days later.

The removal followed rumours of a breakup, as Ximena appeared to have uploaded and then deleted a TikTok with a man who did not resemble Mike.

In the clip, which was saved and reposted by 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates, a series of photos and videos of Ximena and the dark-haired mystery man were displayed and set to Juanse’s “Jaque Mate,” a romantic Spanish-language song.

Ximena swiftly issued a statement in response to the post. “They have uploaded a fictitious video that is currently circulating on social networks.

Someone stole my account and uploaded fake content,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories post that has since been deleted. The nail technician added fuel to the breakup rumours by posting a photo of her new tattoo — a design of Stitch and Angel from the 2002 Disney film Lilo & Stitch — on the inside of her wrist later that month.

As she displayed the ink on TikTok in September 2020, the tattoo appeared to be on the same wrist where she had previously tattooed Mike’s name.

The new piece appeared to be an attempt to conceal Mike’s name. After nearly a week of breakup rumours, an exclusive source confirmed to In Touch that Mike and Ximena broke up less than a year after their engagement and are no longer together.

In the comment section, he provided additional details about the unknown woman. In response to a fan who questioned her appearance, he wrote, “She has brownish, blonde hair, beautiful hazel eyes with green-yellow flecks, and she is shorter than I am.” She has also never undergone cosmetic surgery and has no interest in doing so.
