True Story is an American mystery-drama movie that came out in 2015. It was directed by Rupert Goold in his first time behind the camera. The movie is based on Michael Finkel's memoir with the same name.
It stars Jonah Hill, James Franco, and Felicity Jones. Gretchen Mol, Betty Gilpin, and John Sharian also have roles in the movie. Christian Longo, who Franco plays, is on the FBI's most-wanted list for killing his wife and three children in Oregon.
