Fans couldn’t get enough of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) and her iconic popstar alter-ego from the moment it premiered in 2006. People also fell in love with her family right away.

The show would be incomplete without Miley’s father, Robby (Billy Ray Cyrus), and her brother, Jackson (Jason Earles). To find out how old Jackson was in Hannah Montana, read this article.

Jason Daniel Earles is a well-known American actor. He is best known for his roles as Jackson Stewart in Hannah Montana and Rudy Gillespie in the Disney XD series Kickin’ It.

How Old Was Jackson in Hannah Montana?

John Cena and Jason Earles are both 43 years old. John and Jason both arrived in the world on April 23, 1977. In other words, despite seeming much older than Jason, John is actually only three days older.

Jason began portraying Jackson in 2006, which means he was 29 years old when he appeared on-screen as a 15-year-old. Of course, it happens frequently that adults portray teenagers on screen.

The particularity of the Jason and John connection comes from the fact that John actually starred in a Hannah Montana episode opposite Jackson and played himself.

When @y usraa tweeted on Sunday, May 24, that Jason and John were the same age, the message quickly went viral. With pictures of the two celebrities, Yusraa tweeted: “If you want to have your mind blown: John Cena and Jackson from Hannah Montana are the exact same age.”  The tweet has since received over 400,000 favourites.

People find it hard to believe that Jason and John shared the same year of birth. The fact that Miley Cyrus and Miley Stewart, who were both 13 at the time the first season of Hannah Montana was filmed, were supposed to be two years apart from Jason even though there was actually a 16-year age difference between them in real life, makes it all the more bizarre.
