Who is NBA Youngboy?
YoungBoy Never Broke Again is the stage name of rapper Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, an American. He independently released six mixtapes between 2015 and 2017, steadily building a cult following.
Gaulden signed with Atlantic Records toward the end of 2017. He released the song “Outside Today” in January 2018, and it reached its peak position of number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
His 2018 debut studio album, Until Death Call My Name, which featured the song as its lead single, peaked at number seven on the US Billboard 200.
On October 20, 1999, Kentrell DeSean Gaulden was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. When he was a young child, he broke his neck while wrestling, necessitating a head brace while his spine healed.
His forehead was permanently scarred by the brace. Gaulden’s father received a 55-year prison sentence, so he was primarily raised by his maternal grandmother. He left high school in the ninth grade.
He started writing the lyrics for his debut album while being held in a juvenile detention centre on a robbery charge. Gaulden moved in with his friend and fellow rapper NBA 3Three from Baton Rouge after his release when his grandmother passed away from heart failure (also known as OG 3Three).
The two then started engaging in criminal activity to start paying for studio time.

According to reports, Taylin was born after NBA spent the night with Nia, and a DNA test later proved that the rapper was in fact the child’s father.
Following this, NBA began dating Jania Bania, with whom he eventually had a son named Kacey. One of Drea Symone’s children is reportedly the father of the 22-year-old.
The father of Iyanna Yaya Mayweather’s son Kentrell, who was born in January 2021, was also identified as YoungBoy. Additionally, YoungBoy is the father of one of Lapattra Lashai Jacobs’ kids.
