A Summary of the Ninth Episode of GAP the Series
The ninth episode picks up where the last one left off. At the wedding, Mon is shocked when Kirk proposes to Sam. Sam turns his head away after seeing her cry many times.

She then goes to Mon’s house, stops, and tries unsuccessfully to knock on his door. Mon thinks about Sam even after she gets to work the next day and finds it empty.
She also gets a nice surprise from a coworker who congratulates her on reaching an important career goal. Mon has been told that Sam hasn’t been in the office.
Sam tells Mon to leave after she calls to check on her. The next day, though, Sam fires Mon for meeting the goals, which surprises everyone in the office.
When another worker tells Mon that she only has 24 hours left, Sam gives her another extension. Yuki, Tee, Jim, and Kade all comfort a sad Mon. Mon’s friends try to help her and call Sam to find out what’s going on.
To make Sam jealous, they say that Mon could have been great at Tee’s company. Sam tells them he can’t hire Mon and leaves. Mon gets ready to say goodbye to Sam, and thanks her for giving her ideas.
Sam says that they have to stay in the present because she is no longer making fun of Mon, which makes it hard to believe that Mon is who she says she is. Mon says she’s decided to stop, though.

Sam tells her that she doesn’t hate her; instead, she likes her. They started talking in the café and agreed to go out on dates after they told each other how they felt. The conversation ended nicely with a hug. But their friends tell them about the problems in their relationship right now.
