People are crazy about the different families that show up over the course of the eight episodes. Some families also have their own customs. The kids in the Bridgerton family have names that go from A to Z. (Starting from A for the oldest). This is also why Simon and Daphne had to choose a name that started with an “A” for the last letter of Bridgerton.
It’s an old custom. The books say that they call her Amelia. All three of Featherington’s daughters have names that start with the letter “P.” Still have trouble figuring out who belongs to which family?

The Bridgerton Family Tree: Who Belongs to the Bridgerton Family?
Violet and Edmund Bridgerton are the roots of the Bridgerton family tree. Their fairytale romance and perfect marriage make all of their children want to find the love of their lives. Even the ones who aren’t very romantic, like Eloise, seem to secretly want the kind of healthy, loving relationship their parents had.
Anthony and Kate
Anthony Bridgerton is the oldest of the Bridgerton children. Since his father died when he was only 17, he has been the 9th Viscount Bridgerton. Because of this, he and Kathani Sharma (known in the books as Katherine Sheffield) feel very responsible for their sibling/s and guilty when they can’t protect them as well as they think they should.
But in a way, that’s also a good thing because they now know each other better. Anthony was first engaged to Kate’s younger sister Edwina Sharma, but it soon became clear that he and Kate are a better match. Kate understands Anthony’s sense of duty to his family and is able to keep his more haughty traits in check. In the books, Kate and Anthony had four children.
Benedict and Sophie
Benedict Bridgerton is the most sensitive and creative of the three oldest Bridgerton boys. He is very different from his brother Anthony, who is very strict.
He seems to do some, um, controversial things, at least by Bridgerton standards. Because he is not like other people, he could accept Sophie Beckett. Benedict and Sophie have four kids in the books.
Penelope and Colin
Colin and Penelope Featherington’s relationship is the main focus of the show right now. They are shown to have a relationship like a “girl next door and best friend who doesn’t see her that way.”

After Marina Thompson almost got married to Colin, so she could pass off her child as his, Colin and Penelope are likely to get closer and eventually get married. In the books, they also have four children.
Daphne and Simon
The Duke and Mrs Bridgerton are everyone’s favourite Bridgerton couple. Simon Basset and Daphne Bridgerton have all the charm in the world. Even though it’s clear that the first book will get the first season, it makes sense for these two to be the first couple in the series.
They’re both beautiful, but they’re even more beautiful together. In the books, Daphne and Simon also have four children, but by the end, they also have several grandchildren. Talk about getting a jump on things.

Michael and Francesca
Francesca Bridgerton is the sixth Bridgerton child, and when we meet her in the first season, she is still pretty young. Compared to her older sisters, she is much quieter and shyer. In When He Was Wicked, she falls in love with Michael Stirling, and she goes on to have two kids with him.
Gregory and Lucinda
Gregory Bridgerton is one of the most romantic people in the family, just like Daphne. He is determined to meet the woman of his dreams, the love of his life. Instead, he gets the strict and practical Lucinda Abernathy, who thinks that her friend is making a mistake by marrying him.

Even though they are bound to fall in love, Lucinda is already in a relationship. So, Gregory, the Romantic has to try to get the girl. In the books, they have a lot of kids, and many of them are named after Gregory’s siblings.
Although the showrunners have been focusing more on Colin and Penelope in these recent episodes, it is evident that the Bridgerton books by Julia Quinn are not being adopted in the sequence in which they were published.
However, it is anticipated that the pairs would remain the same throughout the duration of the show. If there are any changes, it will probably be to the characters’ names, which we’ve already seen change when Katherine Sheffield became Kathani Sharma, the number of children they have, how particular couples meet, and so on.
